It’s a good idea to make the most of your freetime, whatever you're doing there is always likely to be sometime during the week that you could count as ‘freetime’. If you use it by joining a local club, playing a sport, doing some volunteering or pursuing a hobby that interests you, you’ll benefit.

You’ll probably meet new people and make more and different friends, you’ll learn new things and skills, you’ll probably be fitter and life would be more interesting! Here are a few examples of the sorts of things that you could get involved in locally – and there will be plenty of others too.
