Target Group: Careers Co-ordinators, Aim Higher Co-ordinators, Form Tutors, Heads of Year and other staff offering one-to-one guidance.
Outline: This course focuses on one-to-one guidance and is designed to help staff to: enhance their understanding of the nature, purpose, scope and importance of guidance; appreciate basic guidance principles and techniques; reflect on, review and consider how to enhance the guidance they give learners.
Outcome: Participants will practise, and gain confidence in using, a range of skills required in one-to-one guidance situations.
