Target Group: Careers Co-ordinators and personal advisers working in schools and colleges. Any partner organisations working with Connexions who have an interest in developing CEG.
Outline: The aim of this course is to look at how career education policy is formulated and to learn about the process of planning and designing career education programmes.
Participants will also explore different ways in which career education and guidance may be delivered, validated and evaluated.
Outcome: Participants will be able to analyse their own organisation’s career education and guidance programme using the Curriculum Design Model, and present strategies to enhance and develop this programme further.
Assessment: This module will be assessed through written assignment.
