Activity Agreement

What is it?

Not got a job? The Activity Agreement is aimed at 16-17 year olds who have been unemployed and out of education or training for at least 6 weeks (see your Personal Adviser), and not receiving benefits and want to get on in life.

If that’s you here’s what’s on offer

  • Up to twenty weeks - with different activities like sport, music, fork lift truck driving,  interview and CV skills
  • Chance to get some qualifications like English, maths, First Aid etc
  • Help with personal issues
  • Chance to meet new people – and have fun!
  • You’ll get more confident and feel better about yourself.

Money

You’ll be paid £30.00 a week as long as you complete your planned activities.
Young people who are claiming Benefits can participate in AA on an 'Agreement Only' basis ie without the £30 allowance whilst continuing to claim Benefits.
